1. Agreement and acceptance
By accessing flyoutbid.com, placing a bid, or completing payment, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place a bid.
When you confirm a bid in the bid form, you also accept these terms for that bid and any related payment or refund.
2. The service
flyoutbid.com runs a time-limited auction for one sole sponsor of a private Citation CJ2+ flight from Lisbon (LIS) to Madeira (FNC) on 20 September 2026 at 13:00 Europe/Lisbon.
The winning bidder receives exclusive sponsorship placement: their logo on the right side of the aircraft door for departure and arrival ground photos, a Made possible by placement on this site with logo and short description, and the logo worn by Clara (the dog on the flight). Print is handled by Crossline Creations.
Valeria and Martin are chartering this flight to bring Clara home. They do not take a profit from bids. Bids first cover charter and print costs (about $16,000). Any amount above that is donated to Fly Together for the Animal Flight Problem initiative.
The flight only goes ahead if the auction reaches at least $7,000. Charter + print is about $16,000; Valeria and Martin pay half. If the total stays under $7,000, the charter is cancelled and outbid refund rules still apply.
The site is operated by Martin Donadieu (@martindonadieu) through Capgo. This is a one-off sponsorship auction, not a general marketplace.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding contracts in your country of residence.
You must bid on behalf of a real company or organisation you are authorised to represent. You must provide accurate company name, website, description, and logo materials.
We may refuse or cancel a bid if we reasonably believe you are ineligible, misrepresenting your authority, or submitting prohibited content (see section 9).
4. Bidding and auction rules
The auction runs for 48 hours: opens Friday 18 September 2026 at 00:00 and closes Sunday 20 September 2026 at 00:00, Europe/Lisbon time.
- Opening bid: $1,000
- Each new bid must be exactly +$1,000 above the current high bid
- One company only. No co-sponsors
- Highest confirmed bid at close wins the sole sponsorship
- Bids are binding once confirmed and paid through Stripe Checkout
- You cannot cancel a confirmed bid voluntarily
Full auction rules, refund options, and print specifications are published on the home page under Rules and What you get. Those on-site rules are part of how the auction works. If anything here conflicts with a live auction state shown on the site, the live state at the time of your bid applies for that auction.
5. Payments and taxes
Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout. Card and payment data are collected and handled by Stripe, not stored on flyoutbid.com servers.
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise on the site. Your bank or card issuer may apply conversion fees or decline international charges.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations that apply to your sponsorship purchase in your jurisdiction. We do not provide tax advice.
6. Refunds and outbids
This auction is designed around outbids. If someone bids higher than you, you are outbid. That is the normal path to a refund, not a cancellation you choose later.
Default when outbid: full refund of your bid amount. Your backlink and listing are removed from the site.
Optional when outbid: you may choose at bid time to receive a refund minus $500 and keep your company name and backlink in the previous bidders section on the site.
Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method when possible. Timing depends on Stripe and your bank.
No voluntary cancellation: once your bid is confirmed and payment succeeds, you cannot withdraw it because you changed your mind. The only routine refund path is being outbid (with the refund option you selected) or the auction ending without you as winner under those same rules.
Chargebacks: initiating a card chargeback or payment dispute without a valid legal basis is a breach of these terms. We may contest improper chargebacks and suspend participation.
If we must cancel the auction or a bid for legal, safety, or operational reasons before flight day, we will refund affected bidders except where a non-refundable fee was clearly chosen and earned (such as the $500 backlink retention option after an outbid).
7. Sponsorship fulfillment
The winner receives the sponsorship described on the site: sole door-logo placement for departure and arrival ground photos only, Made possible by placement on flyoutbid.com, and logo on Clara for media that may follow.
The logo is applied with static-cling vinyl (60 × 40 cm) for ground photos. It is not left on the aircraft in flight. CAMO and airworthiness rules cannot be satisfied in time for in-flight branding on this flight. See About the door logo on the home page.
You agree to supply logo files meeting the published print spec in time for Crossline Creations to print before flight day. If you miss deadlines or supply unusable files, we will work with you in good faith, but we cannot guarantee a specific photo outcome beyond reasonable efforts on the ground.
No flight warranty: private aviation depends on weather, permits, crew, and aircraft availability. We intend to operate the flight as scheduled, but we do not guarantee departure time, routing, media coverage, or that any particular photo will be published. Sponsorship covers the described placement efforts, not unlimited marketing results.
8. Charity surplus
After charter and print costs (about $16,000), surplus bid revenue is donated to Fly Together for the Animal Flight Problem initiative. Valeria and Martin receive no profit from the auction.
If the winning bid is at least $7,000 but below full charter + print cost, Valeria and Martin fund their half and the shortfall toward ~$16,000. Charity donation applies only to amounts above the stated cost threshold.
Donation timing and receipt may follow Fly Together's processes. flyoutbid.com does not issue charitable tax receipts unless we explicitly state otherwise for your jurisdiction.
9. Acceptable use and prohibited content
You may not use the site or sponsorship placement for illegal activity, hate speech, harassment, deception, or content that infringes others' rights.
Logos, company names, websites, and descriptions must not include:
- Illegal products or services, or content promoting violence or discrimination
- Adult, extremist, or otherwise clearly inappropriate material for a family-oriented flight story
- Material that infringes copyright, trademark, or publicity rights
- Misleading claims or impersonation of another brand
We may reject, remove, or blur listings and refuse fulfillment if content violates these rules or creates legal or reputational risk for Valeria, Martin, or the flight operator.
10. Intellectual property
The flyoutbid.com site, design, and non-user content remain the property of the operator and licensors. You receive no ownership in the site itself.
By submitting a logo and company materials, you grant Valeria, Martin, and the site operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, print, photograph, and publish that content solely to run the auction, fulfill sponsorship (including ground photos and Made possible by placement), and document the flight story.
You represent that you have the rights to grant this license and that your materials do not infringe third-party rights.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site and auction are provided as is to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific business outcomes from sponsorship.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Valeria, Martin, Capgo, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site, a bid, or sponsorship fulfillment.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the auction or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your highest confirmed bid in this auction, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
12. Consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these terms removes rights you cannot waive by contract. Where local law gives you cancellation, refund, or remedy rights that override part of these terms, those rights apply.
Because bids are time-sensitive and tied to a specific flight date, some statutory withdrawal periods may not apply once performance has begun with your express consent at checkout. We will honor mandatory rights where they still apply.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms before or during the auction. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use or new bids after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Changes will not retroactively alter the refund option you already selected for a confirmed bid, except where required by law.
14. Contact and governing law
Questions about these terms or the auction: reply to bid confirmation emails (Reply-To) or contact Martin Donadieu on X.
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, given the Lisbon departure and EU context. Courts in Lisbon, Portugal have non-exclusive jurisdiction for disputes, subject to mandatory consumer venue rules in your home country if you are an EU consumer.
For EU consumers, you may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform where applicable.
